Our facility has both private and semi private (shown) rooms. We encourage families to decorate the rooms to make our residents feel comfortable by being surrounded by familiar objects.
A facility in bloom. At Lake Way our gardens, patios and outdoor spaces are the pride and joy of staff and residents alike.
Weather permitting, you will always be able to find a beautiful spot to sit and enjoy the day. Smoking is allowed in designated areas outside.
Dining at Lake Way
We know that nutrition is a building block to good health. This means that eating three well-balanced meals per day is essential. We have therapeutic and mechanically altered diets as well as therapeutic supplements for those who need a little more nutrition. We also have an exquisitely planned menu for all of your dining needs.
At Lake Way Nursing and Rehabilitation Center we serve three freshly cooked meals every day. If the resident does not care for the meal we are serving, there is always an alternative meal choice. We offer snacks at any time of the day or night.
Residents have the choice to dine in our dining room or eat in the privacy of their room.
Our facility provides and encourages our residents to actively participate in activities functions such as games, music, religious services as desired, and entertainment. This encourages socialization and a sense of community for our residents.
We have several exercise programs scheduled each week and when the weather allows, we spend a lot of time on outdoor activities. Everyone needs a bit of fresh air and sunlight!
The local Homemaker Club visits and works on various projects with our residents.
Volunteers from the pottery store, Funky Monkey, come to the facility and hold a pottery class for the residents.
Our gardens did not just grow here. They had lots of help and encouragement from our gardening group.
